This year at our AGM we will be sampling a Swedish smorgasbord and having a quiz about Sweden. Please bring something you would like to drink, a glass and a knife and fork to tuck into these delights.
Our committee will be up for election too after we review the successful year we have had. If you would like to help we always appreciate extra committee members so please let us know either beforehand by emailing [email protected] or on the night.

It's our 4th birthday! We'll be celebrating at Monday's meeting with cake and bubbly. Also on the theme of feeling good, we will be joined by Howard to speak about the benefits of tai chi. Those who wish to can enjoy a taster session of this ancient gentle exercise.

Thanks to Eddie for teaching us how to save lives at our April meeting. It's such an important skill to know CPR and how to use a defibrillator. Members were able to practice hands on CPR and ask a lot of questions which were expertly answered by our speaker.

The Spitfires had an interesting and enjoyable visit to Havering Town Hall with Mayor Sue Ospreay. We were treated to a tour and then tea/coffee and cream cakes. We had so much to ask and learn. Thanks to the Mayor and her team.
