We are a very friendly group of mixed ages. We meet on the Third Friday of the Month 7:30pm -9:30pm at The Cluntergate Centre

The WI is a lovely way to meet new friends, a great opportunity to build on your skills & make a difference in your community.

Our next meeting on Friday 20th November is a Christmas Flower Arranging Demonstration by Andrew Key - We will have tickets available to buy at our Christmas Shopping Event & Horbury WI Craft Fayre & Pop Up Cafe on Sunday 1st November. At our Christmas Shopping Event & Horbury WI Craft Fayre & Pop Up Cafe on Sunday 1st November The Cluntergate Centre, we will have lots of amazing stalls, our Pop-Up Cafe with a fabulous selection of bakes and Bacon & Sausage Sandwiches.
We are also holding a raffle with 25 super prizes in aid of The Horbury WI and The Clothing Bank - tickets are £1 each and can be purchased on the day.
Put the date in your diary and we look forward to seeing you on Sunday 1st November 10am to 2pm.

One week to our Christmas Shopping Event & Horbury WI Craft Fayre & Pop Up Cafe. We have been sharing the pages of our lovely stalls - in addition the following stalls who are not on Facebook will be joining us:
The Crafty Fox - with handmade cards, jewellery, hair accessories and more.
Caroline - with hand painted bookmarks, badges, keyrings, cards and glasses.
Maggie - with Rustic bird boxes and wooden products, homemade jam and knitted chocolate novelties.
Sarah's Coasters - with Tile Coasters.
Julie - with Christmas Cakes, Mince Pies, Christmas cookies and various cakes.
Joan - with Handmade Christmas crackers and gifts.
Wakefield District Badger Group - badger and wildlife-themed crafts, gifts and merchandise.

& Fern Papercraft will be joining us at Our Christmas Shopping Event & Horbury WI Craft Fayre & Pop Up Cafe on 1st November 2026 with their Handmade cards, bookmarks, Framed Artwork, paper Lanterns and Christmas decorations.

We had a fabulous night on Friday 16th October, a room full of members and visitors chatting away while creating their rag wreaths. From 2700 strips of fabric - 30 wreaths were created. Thank you for your The Resource Food Bank donations.

We are proud to be able to support MY Breast Cancer Support WY attendance at Christmas Shopping Event & Craft Fayre on Sunday 1st November. They will be bringing along their tombola stall with chance to win lots of prizes.

My Breast Cancer Support is a patient led support group for everyone living with primary or secondary breast cancer who meet on the last Thursday of every month between 2.45pm and 4.45pm at the Cluntergate Centre, Horbury, WF4 5DA

Thank you to everyone who supports our fundraising activities which enable us to support local good causes and charities.
