During the summer holidays 1st Hope Guides were invited to join Hawarden Guides to celebrate their 100th birthday at Hautbois Girlguiding Activity Centre. The Guides & Rangers took part in 16 different activities during 5 days!
Then last week we joined with 1st Acton, Johnstown & 7th Wrexham Guides for Summer Camp. Our theme was "friendship" all those who attended made new friends from the other units.

If you or your daughter aged 10-14yrs would like to join us please register on the Girlguiding website. We are also looking for adult help please do ask if you'd like more information.

Last week we were invited to join with Wrexham Division Guides to give Cricket a go! We all met at Brymbo Cricket Club.
Everyone enjoyed the evening despite the Heatwave!

Then at our regular meeting the Guides were invited to explore the planets making Travel Blogs to visit Mars!

Last night we did activities around Tessellation patterns. The Guides designed their own patterns & then we went for a short walk to find some examples in the local area. All completed & received their Innovate Stage 4 badges. Seren & Amelia also received their Express Myself Theme Awards!

Last week Hope Guides joined other Guides from our District for an evening of Games at Cymau. A total of 24 Guides attended with their leaders. During the evening our District Commissioner was able to present Niamh with her Guide Gold Award. Congratulations to Niamh on this achievement 👏🎉
