🧵💜 STITCHY DAY – COME AND STITCH WITH STITCHED TOGETHER! 💜🧵

Stitched Together are so excited to be holding their first ever Stitchy Day at St Mary’s Church, Hook! 🥰

Whether you love cross stitch, embroidery, sewing or any other kind of hand stitching, bring along your current project and spend a lovely, relaxed day stitching, chatting and making new friends.

You don’t need to be an expert – everyone is welcome! Whether you’re an experienced stitcher or just love having a project to work on while enjoying good company, come and join them.

🎶 HUMBERSIDE POLICE CONCERT BAND 🎶

SATURDAY 12 SEPTEMBER

We’re only 3 weeks away from what we think is going to be a fantastic evening at Hook Church — but we need your help to fill the seats! ❤️

🎺 Humberside Police Band will be joining us for a special concert in the beautiful setting of St Mary’s Church, Hook.

And this isn’t just any band…

🎶 The band dates back to 1861 and has a fascinating history stretching back more than 160 years! It is thought to be the oldest, continuous Police Band in the world

This is a brilliant opportunity to enjoy an evening of live music right here in our village, whilst also supporting the work of Hook 800+. ⛪️❤️

💛 WE DID IT — £1,000 RAISED! 💛

We’ve just received another incredibly generous donation, taking the final total raised from our Cream Tea event to an amazing £1,000! 🎉👏

We are so incredibly grateful to everyone who came along, donated, enjoyed the afternoon and supported Hook 800+.

A huge thank you also to the Goole & East Riding Community Concert Band, who were absolutely fantastic yesterday and provided the perfect soundtrack to a wonderful afternoon. 🎺🎶

And, of course, thank you to everyone who helped make the event possible. What a fantastic community we have! ❤️

🌞 What a fantastic day! 🌞

We’ve had a brilliant day at our Cream Tea event today! 🫖🍰

The weather was absolutely fantastic, which made for a lovely afternoon, and we’re delighted to have raised £770 towards Hook 800+ funds! 🎉👏

A huge thank you to everyone who came along, enjoyed some delicious treats and supported what we’re doing in Hook. Your continued support really does make such a difference. ❤️

And we’re not stopping there…

📢 Car Boot Sale Cancellation

Unfortunately, we have made the decision to cancel our upcoming Car Boot Sale, which was due to take place on Saturday 26th July. 🚗

We apologise for any disappointment or inconvenience this may cause and thank everyone for their understanding.

Our next event will be our Cream Tea with Goole Community Band on Saturday 15th August. ☕️We’d love to see you there for an enjoyable afternoon of delicious refreshments and wonderful live music in support of Hook Church.
