Raising little voices

Families of Holt and Briston and the surrounding areas have had access to free music groups for over ten years. The free groups were introduced when it was identified that core skills of speech, language and communication were lacking in these locations. As a result, recent data shows that levels of language development in the areas has improved. However, not only do these sessions benefit the children who attend but they are so important for the community. They provide families with a safe, comfortable and positive environment in which they can enjoy and express themselves through music.

It's vitally important that this group remains free at the point of access for all families, in order to benefit those who need it most. We are currently looking for partners who share our views and funding bodies to help continue our development and journey in providing access to music for families.
