Dear all,

A reminder for those that may have an item that isn’t working, the Holmfirth Repair Cafe is on 10am - 1pm at The Holmfirth Tech this Saturday the 7th of February (back to the 1st Saturday of each Month).

Sit with the repairer whilst dealing with your item and learn some handy future fixing tips.

Drinks and biscuits available.

We had a fun and successful January session, fabulous repairs of some very sentimental belongings, including over 100 year old nursing chair 😁👏🏻

Earlier today a post was approved about a roof on a Holmfirth property. It got nasty and personal and the team of volunteers were not to manage what I hoped would be a reasoned informed debate. A few members earnt themselves suspensions for being nasty and a few other posts were removed. We have now removed the post. On reflection it shouldn’t have been approved in the first place.
