Many years ago Terry O'Riordan was the recipient of an Oddfellow Orphan Gift Fund grant.His father had died in an accident just as he was starting off at catering college now 23 years on he has won a very converted award. We in South Essex and Stepney have watched him grow, he has cooked at our old Oddfellows Hall in Grays as well as do front of house as a teenager to earn pocket money. Congratulations must go to him for his hard work and staying power.

DAY TRIP - LIMITED SPACES

Maldon Barge Trip Monday 15th June 2026 by Top Sail Charters - Two Hour Cruise from Maldon Quay including Ploughmans Lunch and Fruit Crumble. Transport and Cruise £73. Pick ups from Leigh Bagel Bar, Leigh Road, The Elms Pub, Hadleigh BP Station, Rettendon Turnpike (just outside of Wickford) and Brewhouse and Kitchen restaurant (opposite Chelmsford Station, Duke Street).
