End of term party

Big thank you to jumpxtremetamworth who hosted our end of term treat for all four sections. On an evening hot enough to rival a volcano the staff looked after us amazingly all the way from socks to slushies and everything in between. The girls loved it and maybe some of the leaders too 😜

Rainbows Teddy bear picnic

Today we took our teds on no ordinary picnic. We made ourselves some ears and a picnic basket, moved our bears and bodies with some yoga, cooked our very own sleeping bags and built some boats to race.

This week all sections learnt about Ramadan and Eid celebrated by Muslims around the world. The girls made Tasbih (prayer beads), moon wands, lanterns and delicious henna biscuits and samosas.

Thank you to Hiba who advised on the evening and will be celebrating Eid with her family today.

Last week we celebrated our biggest promise and awards night to date and to make it even more special it was the first in our new home. Parents were invited to look around, ask questions and meet the full leadership team over a cuppa and a slice of cake. Congratulations to all who made their promise or received an award.

This year thinking day had its 100 year anniversary. Celebrated on the 22 February every year, Lord and Lady Baden-Powells birthday, girls around the world come together to do activities based on that year’s theme. Friendship was the theme for 2026 and alongside other activities the girls made edible friendship bracelets, friendship dolls and positivity pegs.
