Am I entitled to paid holidays?

If you work full-time, part-time, through an agency, or on certain flexible contracts, you may have rights to paid holiday — but understanding exactly what you’re entitled to isn’t always straightforward.

Questions we often hear:
✔ Do agency workers get paid holiday?
✔ What if I work irregular hours?
✔ Can unused holiday be carried over?
✔ What happens if my employer refuses holiday pay?

Knowing your rights at work matters.

Citizens Advice Rutland offers free, confidential and independent advice to help you understand where you stand.

🎟️ THANK YOU, RUTLAND! 🎟️

A huge thank you to everyone who donated bottles, bought tickets, volunteered their time and took part in the For Rutland Tombola at yesterday’s Rutland Show.

The Rutland Showground was packed and the tombola was incredibly busy throughout the day, with hundreds of people stopping by to support a fantastic local cause. Every ticket purchased helps support the work of Citizens Advice Rutland, enabling us to continue providing free, confidential and impartial advice to people across our community.

We would also like to thank all the local businesses, organisations and individuals who generously donated bottles. Your support helped make the tombola such a success.

Finally, thank you to the amazing volunteers, whose hard work, enthusiasm and dedication made the whole day possible.

Together, we are making a real difference in Rutland. 💙
