As a charity, we rely on donations and sponsorships to fund what we do.

We are 100% volunteer-led, so every pound we received goes directly to providing mentoring, coaching, training and competition costs for the talented young people who we are proud to support.

The success stories and medals are wonderful to celebrate - and we're incredibly proud of every one of them. 🥇💙

But they're only part of the Travers Foundation story.

Some of our members are just beginning their journey. Others are developing their skills, building confidence and resilience, and discovering just how far their talent might take them. And some are already competing and performing at the very highest levels.

Not every journey will end with a national title or an international stage - and success doesn't have to mean a medal.

That's why we offer three levels of support, designed to help young people at different stages of their development.

Our role is to help remove the financial barriers that can stand in the way of an opportunity - giving talented and ambitious young people the chance to learn, develop, competed and progress.

They all start at level one. Then we get to see where their skills, commitment and ambition can take them.

We support talented, committed and ambitious young people aged 13-30, living in Northamptonshire, Leicestershire or Rutland, who are developing their potential in sport, music or the arts.

That talent might be just beginning to emerge, or they might already be competing or performing at a high level. What matters is the commitment ambition and potential to progress.

The Travers Foundation helps make opportunities more accessible - from coaching and professional support to competition fees, travels and performance opportunities.

Because talent needs the right opportunity to grow.

For young people developing in sport, music and the arts, the costs can quickly add up. Coaching, training, competitions, travel and performance opportunities often have to be funded by the young person or their family.

And sometimes, despite all the talent and commitment in the world, the next opportunity simply becomes unaffordable.

That's one of the reasons that The Travers Foundation exists.

We help young people across Northamptonshire, Leicestershire and Rutland overcome those financial barriers and keep doing what they do best - developing their talent and discovering just how far it can take them.

Because lack of money shouldn't mean lack of opportunity.
