Last night during our first aid training sessions, we hosted two cadets from our neighbouring squadrons as they both paraded for the final time as RAF Air Cadets before moving on to new adventures.
Cdt Flight Sergeant Charlotte Buxton of 2480 (Holywell) Sqn ages out, but is returning as a Civilian Instructor, bringing back a wealth of experience and knowledge to the next generation of cadets that engage with us.
Cdt Sergeant Owen Buxton of 2518 (Flint) Sqn leaves to start his career next week with the Royal Air Force, taking the skills he has gained during his time as a cadet with him, which will no doubt aid tremendously during his basic and phase 2 technical training.
The siblings both joined 2480 (Holywell) Sqn in 2021 and have taken part in everything that RAFAC has to offer, each of them incredibly proud to have been part of the UK’s Premier Cadet Force, gaining experiences, confidence and friendships that will last a lifetime.
OC 1378 (Mold) Sqn, Flying Officer Morter mentions “we were really pleased to have been able to host Charlotte and Owen on their last night parading as cadets, it was great to see them along with the OC’s of their Sqn’s as they visited us for training. The team and I at 1378 wish them both all the best for the future”
