We're collecting hens from a caged farm next weekend, 3rd January, and there are still few girls without homes, so please pop over to our website to reserve.

Please note, these girls should not go in with large cockerels for at least 6 weeks as they are little fragile with poor bone density.

We've been driving in thick fog for a while now on the way to a farm, then it's off to Uttoxeter yo rehome some lovely girls. 🐔 A Plea for Help from Huntingdon & Peterborough Fresh Start for Hens 🐔

Our amazing volunteers have quite literally run out of space! Their gardens are now full of chicken runs, which we use as a holding centre to help deliver hens across the East — making sure no hen is ever left behind.

Their garages are also packed with cockerel pens and hospital pens for poorly hens who need a bit of extra care before finding their forever homes.

As an organisation, we’re trying to secure a shipping container to safely store all the extra equipment that’s currently taking up space (and sometimes gets “borrowed” and never returned!).

👉 What we really need is a kind farmer or landowner nearby who could spare a small parcel of land for us to place the container on. It would allow our volunteers to keep doing their incredible work safely and efficiently.

We are here at Elsworth School PTA fete Elsworth School PTA roasty toasty heat and we have balloons, car stickers, pin badges and HENS

Tomorrow we will be at Elsworth School PTA and a few of our girls will be coming too. Come and see us and register for hens, or do some crafts (we will be making some hens as well as real.ones) balloons ... cuddles with hens. What more could you do with your Saturday?
