425KM. 8 NIGHTS IN THE WILDERNESS. ONE EXTRAORDINARY TEAM. WE DID IT!🎉🎉🎉
It’s difficult to put into words just how proud we are of our incredible Yukon team.
After 425km of paddling down the mighty Yukon River, 8 nights wild camping in the Canadian wilderness and facing everything the elements could throw at them…
WE'VE DONE IT!
There have been long, exhausting days, aching bodies, challenging conditions and moments when everyone has had to dig deep and then deeper again. But there has also been laughter, friendship, teamwork, breathtaking scenery and experiences that none of us will ever forget.
We’ve travelled through true wilderness, sharing this incredible landscape with grizzly bears, black bears, moose and their young, chipmunks and countless eagles soaring above us. 🐻🫎🦅 There have been moments when we’ve simply stopped, looked around and realised just how lucky we are to be here.
But through every kilometre, there has been a reason for doing this.
Our team took on this immense adventure to raise an incredible £25,000 for Smile For Life Children’s Charity — money that will help us continue creating opportunities, experiences and brighter futures for the wonderful young people we support. 💜💛
To every single member of our team: thank you. Thank you for saying yes to something huge. For stepping outside your comfort zone. For supporting each other when things got tough. For the laughs, the fears, the determination and for giving everything you had.
We will never forget what we achieved together.
And a very special thank you to Jamie and Ed from Nordur who have been quite simply outstanding. From keeping us safe and providing first-class equipment to quietly looking out for every individual and making sure each person had the best experience possible — we could not have asked for better people to lead us through this extraordinary wilderness. 💜💛

425 kilometres later, we finish tired, scruffy, a little battered, incredibly proud and with friendships and memories that will stay with us forever.
