🌈 Colour Run 2026 🌈
We have a very emotional PFA over here! THANK YOU to everyone that came and enjoyed this event today ❤️ we’ve worked VERY hard on this for a long time and to be honest we have all had a lot of anxiety about whether we could pull this off (seeing as this was the first time!) but seeing all the smiles (SO MANY 🥹) the positive feedback… we’d do it all again ❤️
THANK YOU to all of the PFA volunteers, there would simply be no events if you all didn’t take the time out of your life to pull this together, evenings, weekends and for many of us- a full day off work today 😂 finally a thank you to Laura, who has volunteered tirelessly for the last 7 years and will be leaving us over summer, we’re so grateful for all your hard work and wish you nothing but the best in the future ❤️

Next Friday 19th June, we will be holding a Fathers Day Shop for the JUNIOR children only during school hours (9am-before lunch!) Prices will range from 50p-£6 (so please send children in with change!) and there will be a maximum of 4 gifts per child. Thank you 💙

🎟️ Raffle tickets are £1 each and more are available at BOTH school offices AND at 🎟️

🥞🍌Year 6 SATs breakfast & end of SATs ice cream van treat! 🥣🍦
🥳 a massive well done to all of our year 6s 👏 we are so proud of you all for what must have been a very stressful week for you! 📚

The PFA provided all year 6s an opportunity for a full breakfast every morning to make sure they were at their best before sitting their exams 💪 and of course you can’t just be prepared FOR the exams, you need to celebrate the ending of them to! And what better way than a cheeky cone from the ice cream van 🙌 well done again year 6, you smashed it!

📝 a VERY productive (and late ending!) meeting was had last night as we discussed the final details regarding the colour run on Friday 12th June 🥳 🌈
🙋🏻‍♀️🙋🏾🙋🏼‍♂️WE NEED VOLUNTEERS… please 😂
If you think you could help out from 3pm-finished (we’re thinking around 5:30pm) then please do let us know. We have a lot we want to put on and need the extra hands to pull it off for those couple of hours. Setting up wise we seem to be ok (most of us will be there from 9am- finished 😅) but if you could help us for those couple of hours running it, we would be very grateful. It’s mostly selling drinks, ice lollies etc as they can be very demanding for just 2 people! So again, we’d be very grateful if you could help 😊nobody will miss their child going through the colour run, all of us have children wanting to do the race and we will all be taking turns to watch our kids, hence needing extra hands so we can have that flexibility whilst still keeping the stalls flowing 🙌 just send me a message and we’ll get you onto the WhatsApp group so you can see who/what/where/when 👍
🛞 Anyone got any old tyres the kids can cause havoc over?

🌟 PFA meeting, Thursday 21st May 8pm The George (high st!) 🌟

📝 we will be discussing the upcoming Colour Run that will be taking the place of the Summer Fayre. If you think you could volunteer any of your time during this event, we would be so grateful! You don’t have to attend the meeting to volunteer, we would welcome you to the WhatsApp group which would have all the details of what we need help with (selling food and drinks etc) the more volunteers we have, the bigger and better we can make this event 🙌 🙋🏻‍♀️ it’s also an amazing opportunity to discuss/ask anything that you’re wondering about regarding this event. If you’re unable to attend in person, please send us any questions or queries that you have before the meeting and we can then discuss them whilst we are there together (as it’s the last opportunity before the day of the event that the majority of us will be all together at the same time 😅)
