COULD YOU HELP US?
Here at the Bentham & District Dementia Friendly Community we have some amazing volunteers. We meet every other Thursday for our Breakfast Club and offer tea and Coffee and a breakfast bap. QUESTION IS - could you be up for the morning with us to help organise, make teas and coffees and participate with our wonderful community? This would be usually for a maximum of 2.5 -3 hours, between 9.30 and 12ish to set up, tidy away and converse with members of our club. Before we share some of our amazing pictures from the Windermere 2026 trip, We just wanted to say a HUGE THANK YOU to Mr Grahame Bolton Holland who kindly funded a lot of our trip this year in the 2nd July. The coach and our wonderful meal of fish, chips, peas and ice-cream (not all On the same plate) was an amazing and thoughtful input to our day and I cannot stress how grateful we are. We have had an amazing day with the gang. The coach to Lakeside hotel, fish chips mushy peas and ice cream and then onto the boat up to the lake to Bowness where our coach picked us up for the journey home. What a wonderful day, thanks to all who attended 🐟🍟🛥️🤍

The Dementia Friendly Breakfast Club will be saying goodbye to our founder Jonathan next week on the 21st May. Our breakfast club is from 10am to 12noon and we plan to give Jonathan a good send off. We are super sad that he is leaving and would like to invite anyone who has been part of the club these last 10 years of Jonathan's reign to say their goodbyes.... On a plus note he is being replaced by Kim, who has learnt a lot from Jonathan over 5 years and cannot wait to takeover the mischief
