We've had a great time with volunteers from GBS at our sites in Western Road and Horsenden Hill this month and look forward to growing together to make sure we create food security for people in need in our community. Thanks for your help and support team! ;-)

Thanks to Manager Casey at Lidl GB East Acton for the donations of surplus food yesterday. He and his team really help us support charities supporting people in need across London and we're so grateful for the help.

We're looking forward to seeing the volunteers from Tata Motors coming to volunteer and help us harvest some food tomorrow. We'll put some photos up soon so you can see how much fun it is.

Also come along tomorrow and have some fun getting back to nature and help us harvest some food for local charities. There's on street parking with no restrictions. Courgettes, chillies, Okra, Beetroots, Onions and Garlic in the Poly-tunnel on Saturday and everyone is welcome to come have free fun and help planting at urban garden from 12pm. Bring a friend and have twice as much fun. ;-)

We delivered 6 trays of fresh organic vegetables to Damian, Chef Rose and her team at Acton Homeless Concern - Emmaus House & Damien Centre yesterday. They cooked 170 meals for their clients and our contributions will make a big difference to the many people they support. Keep up the great work team!

A Wonderful Day at the Heston Lions Community Garden 🌱
Today was a truly special day as Lion Jatinder Kaur of Heston Lions Club was joined by her beloved nephew Dr. Gurpreet Chadha, a maxillofacial specialty doctor, and his wife Robyn Chadha, all the way from Leeds, for a day of hands-on volunteering at the Heston Lions Urban Garden at Horsenden Grape and Honey Farm. 💚

The trio rolled up their sleeves and got stuck into weeding, watering, and harvesting – serving the community with love, joy, and purpose. 🌾🌻

✨ Robyn Chadha is an Agile Delivery Manager at , where she plays a key role in leading technology projects that empower individuals struggling with debt and poverty. She also co-founded , a welcoming space in Morley offering free events that foster connection and community spirit.

Robyn is also actively involved in , where she regularly guest preaches and volunteers at the much-loved community kitchen – ensuring that no one in the local area goes hungry. 🥘

Today, Robyn brought her heart for service to our Urban Garden project – proving once again that real change happens when people come together in love, faith, and action. 💫

What a joy to spend the day with two people I love immensely, doing something truly meaningful for an amazing cause.

We're bringing in the 1st harvest from our Feeding Ealing Heston Lions Club urban garden and are having another fun day tomorrow at the site in Whitton Avenue East and need volunteers to help us grow delicious food for local charities and groups supporting people in need. Please come along tomorrow from 11am and have some fun while doing something to help others. Thanks ;-)
