The village hall is held on trust to be used for purposes set out by the Recreational Charities Act 1958. The Holme Lacy Village Hall is situated in the centre of the Holme Lacy village in Hereford. It is an attractive black and white half-timbered building with lead framed windows and an attractive timber-framed roof originating back to the 1920s when it was given to the village by Sir and Lady L
ucas-Tooth of Holme Lacy House in memory of two of their three sons who were all killed in the First World War. It is a registered war memorial. The hall is regularly used for recreational events such as coffee mornings, fitness classes, line-dancing and Tai Chi, and is also the home ground of the Holme Lacy Football Club. It is also a popular venue for wedding receptions. The village hall is the ideal venue from which to provide activities for the whole community.
