With just 6 days to go until I fly to India, this, this comes in.
Rolfe is my guide, my friend, and quite frankly one of the best in the business so I know we will all be safe. Reading about the conditions where we are headed is a little unnerving for someone who hasn't climbed anything like this before. Different mountain but same area. Just goes to show that no matter how great you are, no matter how well prepared, if the mountains don't want you there, they have the final say and you have no choice but to respect them.
Needing more than luck ..... counting down to either another summit or the best story of my life regardless!
