Rotary in Hednesford

Rotary in Hednesford Proposed New Rotary Club - Gateway to Cannock Chase What’s Rotary? Why Hednesford? Cannock has had a Rotary Club since 1936 and Rugeley, 1950.

Founded in 1905, Rotary International is the biggest service organisation in the world with 1.4 million members. Hednesford, is a distinct town with a Town Council, independent shops, businesses, superstores, eateries, schools and churches and much, much more. So what’s a Rotarian? A Rotarian is over 18 and in work or retired. He/she wants to spend a few hours helping others (perhaps using their s

pecial skills) AND SMILES A LOT! Who do Rotarians help? Basically speaking – the old, the young and those in need. Do you have to pay to be a member? Every member has to pay to help fund this huge organisation. Things like training and legal matters and, importantly, insurance cover for members doing activities. £10 per month would be adequate. How do I find out more? By contacting [email protected] and arranging to join other members for a chat.
