🇬🇧⚽ England vs Croatia – World Cup Night! ⚽🇭🇷

Brethren, family, and friends are warmly invited to join us on 17th June for an evening of fraternity, food, and football as we come together to watch England take on Croatia in the World Cup!

The evening will begin with a short Masonic meeting to Open and Close the Lodge, followed by a White Table style festive board where everyone can relax, enjoy good company, and build the atmosphere before kick-off.

6:45pm Wednesday 18th December 2024, at Heckmondwike Masonic Hall, is the time and place of Amphibious Lodge No. 258’s Scroll Night.
After the necessary business of the meeting has been completed, the Worshipful Master and Master Elect will invite all those in attendance to join them, with ‘refreshments in hand’, to take their dining seats and watch that legendary ‘Masonic’ film, The Man Who Would Be King.

A true ‘ripping yarn’ of a movie, based on Rudyard Kipling's 1888 novella, telling the story of two former British Soldiers in India, Daniel Dravot and Peachy Carnehan, who decide to travel to Kafiristan, where no white man has ventured in a long time, to live and rule as kings.

I can’t think of a more convivial way to spend, for what may our last Masonic meeting prior to Christmas.

So, on behalf of the Worshipful Master and members of Amphibious Lodge, your are cordially invited to share a truly memorable evening of conviviality and Masonic pride.
