🌿 Shared Pathways – Beacon Hill 🌿

This Friday, Georg took some of our wonderful One Voice women to Beacon Hill as part of our Shared Pathways project. 💚

We spent time exploring the landscape, taking in the views and noticing the stories held within this special place. 🌳⛰️ It was a chance to slow down, step away from everyday routines and experience somewhere new together.

Shared Pathways is about so much more than visiting different places. It gives us the opportunity to explore our local heritage, share memories and stories, discover new perspectives and create new experiences together. 💬❤️

For many of the women, days like this are also about connection — having the opportunity to get out, explore, talk, laugh and simply enjoy being together in a beautiful setting. 🌿😊

We’re so grateful to the CultureDale Connect Fund and The National Lottery Community Fund for supporting Shared Pathways and helping us create opportunities for our One Voice women to connect with their local heritage, nature and each other. 🙏💚

🌿 Shared Pathways 🌿

Today, Georg took some of our wonderful One Voice women to Shibden Park as part of our Shared Pathways project.

Together, they explored the beautiful grounds, took in the nature around them, and paused to notice the details that are so often missed. By slowing down and seeing the park through fresh eyes, the group discovered new perspectives in a place that holds special memories for many.

Shared Pathways is about more than visiting places. It’s about sharing the stories that places hold, reflecting on our own memories and experiences, and understanding why somewhere is meaningful to us and to others. Through these conversations, we build connections, celebrate our shared heritage, and create new memories together.

We’ll be sharing some photos from our lovely day out over the next few days, so keep an eye on our page! 📸🌿

A huge thank you to the CultureDale Connect Fund and The National Lottery Community Fund for supporting the Shared Pathways project and making experiences like this possible. 💚

🌿 Shared Pathways 🌿

This week, our Shared Pathways group visited The Piece Hall in Halifax – a place that holds special memories for many of the women who attend our sessions.

Although familiar, the group were invited to see it through fresh eyes, exploring its history, architecture and the stories held within its walls.

Shared Pathways is about stories – the stories of places, the people connected to them, and the memories we create and share. It’s about discovering new perspectives, building connections, and recognising that every place and every person has a story to tell.

A huge thank you to the CultureDaleConnect Fund and The National Lottery Community Fund for supporting this project and making these shared experiences possible. 💚

🌿✨ One Voice: Belonging, Connection & Community✨🌿

On Friday, we held our final One Voice session before the summer break — and it was such a beautiful way to bring women together.

For this special session, we invited women who have been part of some of our other projects to join us, creating a wonderful opportunity to connect, share experiences and build new relationships across our Verd de Gris community 🌸

We were joined by Dion and Cath from Calderdale Pathway Service, They embraced the session with open hearts, stepping into a different kind of space with such warmth, curiosity and openness. It was wonderful to see how naturally they joined the group, shared the space with the women and embraced the creativity, conversations and connection that are at the heart of One Voice. Thank you to you both! 🤍

The session focused on belonging and connection — exploring what it means to feel part of something, to be heard and to have a safe space where you can simply be yourself. It was wonderful to see the openness, trust and genuine connections that grew throughout the session ✨

We are excited to continue developing this work with Pathways, Calderdale Therapeutic Services and young care leavers, creating more opportunities for connection, creativity and support 🌈

A huge thank you to The National Lottery Community Fund for helping us create these spaces where women can come together, belong and grow 💛

💛 More connection. More belonging. More shared journeys.

💜 This morning we met with some of our lovely Advisory Group members to chat about FIBRE and all the projects we've been delivering, as well as the exciting work we're continuing to develop through our five-year funding from The National Lottery Community Fund.🌿

These meetings are always so valuable. They give us the opportunity to reflect on what's working well, listen to different perspectives, share ideas and make sure the voices and experiences of the women we work alongside continue to shape the direction of FIBRE. 🤝

A huge thank you to everyone who came along this morning. Your honesty, encouragement and insight are such an important part of helping us grow and ensuring the work we do continues to respond to the needs of our community. 💜

We're also incredibly grateful to for helping us purchase essential equipment that supports the delivery of our work. Their contribution is making a real difference, and we're so thankful for their support. 🙏
