A few pictures of our Community Centre from the 150th anniversary event that took place last weekend.

As you can see the room fully set up can accommodate a maximum of 60 people, ideal for birthday parties, anniversaries or just family / group get togethers.

Full kitchen facilities, disabled toilets and access. Children’s toilets with safety taps, tables and chairs all available.

Fully decorated over the past few weeks this is the ideal venue available for hire. Regular group activity meetings also welcome. For further information please get in touch.

Angarrack Methodist Chapel 150th Anniversary Celebration

Angarrack Methodist Chapel will celebrate its 150th anniversary in 2024. To recognise this unique event, an afternoon get together is being organised for Saturday 30th March in the community centre.

The event will commence at 1400, with cream tea, pasties and teas and coffees available to those attending. There will be no charge, however guests are more than welcome to contribute to the event prior to, or on the day.

It is hoped to have a display of old photographs of the chapel, and events held in it over the 150-year history. If you have anything that might be of interest, please contact Shirley Thomas details below.

The event is open to anyone who has attended the church or Sunday school and to past or present residents of the village of Angarrack. Please if you know people who this may be of interest to, let them know.

On Sunday 31st March a service will be held in the Chapel commencing at 1200 with the preacher being Rev Ray Borrett. There will also be refreshments following the Sunday service.

This Sunday 10th December Christmas Carol service being held at the Chapel. Starts 6pm followed by tea and mince pies. All welcome please support your local chapel and community centre.

A fabulous turnout this evening for the Defibrillator familiarisation. We had a total of 26 people attend over the two sessions so thank you for taking time to visit.

This can only give the the village further confidence that help isn’t far away if ever the defibs are needed.

Our hire charge is only £20 per session. Terms and conditions will apply.

The committee do reserve the right to change this rate at their discretion.

Available for parties, social gatherings, activities and clubs to a maximum of 60 people.
