Hi all, I am about to apply for some funding from Destination Tweed to run a Nature Journalling programme in Tweedsmuir. As usual with grant applications there is always a question regarding how you know there is a need , so I could do with your help. Please could you spare 5 min to complete the SurveyMonkey.

I know some of you are a long way off geographically, but you’re still part of the nature journaling community and your comments especially would be of high value.

If I got the funding I would be running a free 8 week Saturday nature journaling course for adults, probably May/June - hopefully warm enough to be outside (Wee Crook garden), but we would have use of Tweedsmuir village hall also.

All resources to do nature journaling - paints, watercolour logbooks/paper, brushes etc. etc would be provided as part of the course.

Week 7 of Branching Out today. In the snow, but warm under a tarp. Learning knots and enjoying the fire and each others company. Breath taking weather and views as we were setting up.

Days 300/301 (26th/27th October). On the Fylde Coast and wow it didn’t disappoint. Not seen a Deathcap before - very interesting, but also scary considering how poisonous it is.
