It’s been a busy and what seems like a very quick first half of term with the Minis.
We have over 110 children registered with us so far this season which is great to see so many down at Mansfield Park each week.
We have had a festival at Melrose, and a tournament at Jedburgh
As always at this time of the year, a couple of big changes, as players move up a year and get to experience new rules.
🏉 Our P3’s have had their first taste of playing games against other teams
🏉 Our P4’s are now tackling and are showing some great performances already
🏉 Our P5’s are showing some improvements from last year and sticking in well with their skills
🏉 Our P6’s are now getting used to scrums and rucks
🏉 Our P7’s now have bigger pitch sizes, more space, bigger scrums and line outs to master.
The Chelley Trophy has been awarded after Melrose and Jedburgh to those players in P5 to P7 that have demonstrated something that stood out to their coaches. It could have been a great tackle, leadership or sportsmanship.
Well done to:
🏉 Robbie P5
🏉 Tyler P6
🏉 Joshua P7
🏉 Henry P6
Well done everyone, looking forward to the second half of term.
Training as usual over half term
