🦋🦋🦋Last Wednesday , we were very lucky as a foundation to be invited to the Valero Oil Refinary Pembroke Charity Awards event at St Brides hotel .
We were very honoured and grateful to be presented with a very generous cheque alongside other Welsh charities .
Pictured is one of our trustees Ailsa accepting a cheque for £20,150 .
With several requests currently ongoing and more incoming to help children with additional learning needs in their education this will go such a long way to meeting those
applications. Thank you 🦋🦋🦋

📚Diolch o galon i Sefydliad The Catrin Vaughan Foundation am y rhodd hael o gyfresi Twm y Llew yn y Gymraeg a'r Saesneg. Rydym yn gwerthfawrogi'r cyfraniad gwerthfawr hwn o lyfrau i'n hysgol ac yn ddiolchgar iawn am eich caredigrwydd a'ch cefnogaeth. 🌟

Sefydlwyd yr elusen hon yn Sir Benfro er cof am Catrin Vaughan, athrawes ifanc o Ysgol Glannau Gwaun, a bu farw’n drist ar ei ffordd i’r gwaith. 📚A heartfelt thank you to the Catrin Vaughan Foundation for the generous donation of the Twm the Lion Books series in both Welsh and English. We truly appreciate this valuable contribution of books to our school and are deeply grateful for your kindness and support. 🌟

This charity was set up in memory of Catrin Vaughan, a young teacher at Ysgol Glannau Gwaun, who tragically died on her way to work. Catrin was passionate about helping children find their strengths and skills – particularly those with additional learning needs. Her foundation provides facilities and equipment for Pembrokeshire pupils.

🦋Trustees Robert and Gwenda Vaughan visited Ysgol Llanychllwydog yesterday to present the school with the Sleeping Lions programme made by Raven Technologies.

The device uses a specially created app on a dedicated tablet. By completing various activities designed to lower heart rates the child enables an animated character – Tom the Lion – to relax and fall asleep. As the child calms and their heart rate lowers this is mirrored in Tom: the app guides the user to calm down quicker in order to make Tom fall asleep faster.

Thank you again to all that support The Catrin Vaughan foundation . 🦋

The Catrin Vaughan Foundation visited Waldo Williams Primary School to meet Ffion and present her with a new iPad.
Ffion is visually impaired and has albinism.
Ffion is a keen sportswoman, works hard in school and is set to achieve wonderful things.
The iPad software will allow her to increase the size of font and images so she will be able to complete her school work in class, this will help develop independence for Ffion and give her confidence as she transitions through this year and in to high school.
