💙 Community Partnerships with Beacon Food Bank 💛

Natalie and Caroline enjoyed a really positive meeting with Jacqui from Tesco Havant, one of our longstanding local community partners.

We are incredibly grateful to Tesco Havant for hosting one of our collection baskets and to their generous customers who continue to donate items to support local people in need.

We took the opportunity to update our quarterly impact data and share our current list of most needed items.

A huge thank you to Jacqui and her team at Tesco Havant and to everyone who donates. Your continued support makes a real difference to our work in the local community. 💙💛

💙 What We Need Wednesday 💛
We often meet people who tell us that they would love to donate to the Food Bank but sometimes they are not sure what to give.

So we thought it would be helpful to let you know each month what we are currently short of.
🧼 This month we are in need of toiletries.
Soap, shower gel, shampoo, deodorant, toothpaste and toothbrushes are all really useful items for the people who use our Food Bank.

We are also always short of Spaghetti hoops and rings and pot noodles. If you are able to donate any of these items, they would be gratefully received.

Remember every donation makes a difference and helps us provide people in our local community with the essentials they need.

💙💛 Thank you for supporting Beacon Food Bank Havant.

Simply make a donation and take something home with you. Every donation goes directly towards helping us buy fresh produce for Beacon Food Bank clients including milk, fruit and vegetables.

So next time you are in the Coffee Lounge, have a browse and see what you can find. Your donation will help us provide fresh food for local people who need our support. 💙💛

🚨 URGENT!🚨

We're in need of Bags for Life as we're running very low!! 😬
Any medium/large size (no XL please) sturdy bags that are in good condition would be very much appreciated! 🛍
They can be dropped off at any of our local donation points (Tesco,Asda,Waitrose) or to our own Beacon Lounge in the Meridian Centre.
Please share this to spread the word if you can.

Thank you :) 🙏❤

💙 Working together in our community

It was great to catch up yesterday with Juliet Bowskill, Community Inclusion Officer at Horizon Havant and today with Kathy Heidstrom, from Waitrose Havant.

We took the opportunity to explore how we can continue and strengthen our partnerships with local organisations and support our local community together.

Watch this space! 👀💙

💙 A huge thank you to Waitrose Havant customers!

Our volunteers have been super busy sorting through a record number of donations from Waitrose, Havant customers. Thank you so much for your incredible generosity! 💛

A quick reminder that we can only accept food donations that are in date and in undamaged packaging. This helps us to make sure that everything we receive is safe and suitable to pass on to our clients.

Thank you to everyone who donated and to our amazing volunteers for sorting it all! 💙💛

This month, we would like to thank everyone who donates through our local collection points. Whether it is one item or a full bag, every single donation means so much to people who find themselves in difficult situations. Your kindness helps us to provide vital food and support to people in our community when they need it most. Thank you for making a difference. 💙 Havant
