When my mum was poorly I found mindful meditation such a blessing!

A Decade of Voices: Maternal Mental Health Awareness Week.

From :
This year marks a decade of progress, partnerships, and lived experience leadership. We are celebrating the milestones achieved since the very first MMHAW and honoring the diverse parenthood journeys that have shaped this movement.

Our Week at a Glance:

May 4th – Launch: A Decade of Voices: Celebrating 10 years of progress and watching buildings light up purple as a beacon of light.

May 5th – Voices of Experience: Spotlighting parents’ lived experiences across the decade through blogs, short videos, and quotes.

May 6th – World Maternal Mental Health Day: Joining the global community to raise awareness and break the stigma on a world stage.

May 7th – Voices of Care: Highlighting the vital collaboration between families and professionals, including midwives, health visitors, GPs, and the voluntary sector.

May 8th – Voices of Change: Focusing on advocacy, policy shifts, and the Lived Experience changemakers that have reshaped the landscape of care.

May 9th – Voices of Loss and Healing: Providing sensitive, supportive messaging for those navigating perinatal trauma, miscarriage, stillbirth and baby loss.

May 10th – Voices of the Future: Looking ahead to the next generation of support, innovation, and continued progress in maternal mental wellness.

Together, we are a decade of progress. Together, we are the voices of change.

We invite everyone to share their story during Maternal Mental Health Awareness Week. No matter your journey, your voice matters.
