We had a great evening performing at St John's Church for the music marathon, raising money for St Andrews Hospice. Thank you to our concert MD, Anne MacLeod for inviting us along again!

☀️ MEN OF LEITH. . . ARE YOU ON YOUR WAY? ☀️

HODC are on the lookout for talented men to join our exciting new production of Sunshine on Leith!

We are currently casting both principal roles and ensemble, and we’d love to hear from strong performers, singers, and actors ready to bring this powerful Scottish musical to life.

Principal Roles
Davy (25–32): Squaddie recently returned from Afghanistan. Grounded and emotional, he becomes Yvonne’s boyfriend but their relationship is tested by violence from his past and her ultimatum about building a future beyond Leith.

Ally (25–32): Squaddie recently returned from Afghanistan. Struggles to adjust to civilian life and a desire to settle down, but after a failed engagement with Liz, ultimately returns to the army.

Rab (50+): Jean’s husband of 30 years. A proud, complicated father figure who discovers he has a child he never knew about, forcing him to confront long-buried truths.

We’re also seeking strong male ensemble performers to help bring the world of Leith to life through powerful group vocals, movement, and storytelling across vibrant ensemble numbers and key dramatic moments.
