A recent personalised Poppy completed and now with the customer who will be gifting this to a fellow Oppo of his.

Made for a former Royal Marine Falklands veteran it is always an honour to create each and every one.

I am now taking orders ready for the up and coming Remembrance Day and if you are thinking of getting a unique and personalised momento or gift then please do get in touch.

I can personalise the Poppy with any central design, from differing companies, units or services.

These average 30cm in height and are a unique and personal way of remembering both service and sacrifice be it both past and present.

Thankyou for your continued support.

Very saddened to hear the passing of World War Two Veteran Henry Rice who served with the Royal Navy and who also took apart amongst other duties the Normandy Landings.

I was honoured to create a Poppy for his 100th Birthday.

God bless.

May you Rest In eternal Peace.

Fair winds and following seas.

Thankyou Henry.

~ Reflection ~

It’s 25 years since the events which unfolded on 9/11. A day in which everyone at the time can remember what they were doing and where they were.
It changed lives and the world forever.
Putting politics, conspiracies and theories aside today; for me it is about all those who were tragically killed and scarred and to those who fought the War on Terror in which we lost friends, colleagues and family, not just in battle but those who returned mentally and physically damaged.
I remember the world before and I remember the world after.
Reflect in your own way and remember freedom isn’t free.

~ For Valour ~

Shown amongst the photos is a personalised Conflict Poppy featuring the emblem of:

• The 3rd Battalion Parachute Regiment

This is decorated with the earth from Mount Longdon in the Falkland Islands 🇫🇰 and was a gift from a daughter to her dad who was one of those who fought In this battle.

This is now with the recipient and it is as always an honour and a privilige to create something which is unique and personal representing both service and sacrifice.

I was sent a photo by the daughter of her father receiving this and it’s one of the most powerful photos I have ever received, it really does not only humble me but it also resonated with me on a level I find hard to convey in words.

Thankyou for your continued support and to all those who fought in this battle and all others to make sure the Falklands remain British 🇬🇧…

We Remember.

~ Work in Progress ~

With the up and coming artists biennial exhibition in the main Crossley Gallery at Dean Clough I am working on this piece which still has a lot to add, I have some ideas for the title and below are a few suggestions but I would be interested to know your thoughts or any names you could think of.

This is made with fired empty cylindars in the female form and I am undecided if it’s going to be a wall piece or free standing:

Title suggestions I have are:

• She Who Remains
• Empty Shell
• Fired Grace
• Triggered Grace
• Spent Form

~ Out Of Ammo, God Save The King! ~

The final radio message from Arnhem.

This updated artwork features the final radio message from Arnhem, which was communicated during Operation Market Garden in September 1944 and is made with the earth from close to the bridge, done in a period typewriter font and includes an empty .303 ammo clip.

Nothing speaks more, whilst in a precarious position than this after the incredible heroism and dedication to duty.

Simply mounted on a black frame this is available and measures 50cm W x 40cm H.

Please message me directly if you are interested in this piece, a donation will be made to the memorial fund.

Thankyou.

~ Faugh a Ballagh ~

Shown is a beautiful metal display Poppy featuring the emblem of:

• The Royal Irish Regiment

This is decorated with the earth and sands from:

• Northern Ireland
• Iraq
• Afghanistan

This has been a great honour to create this for Speedy aka Trevor Coult MC I hope it is a unique and personal way of remembering both his service and sacrifice.

I met him when I went out as the CONCO for my company to Sangin, Afghanistan, Op Herrick 9 in 2008 and was paired with him for a month before the Relief in Place of our Troops.

You may or may not know but he was awarded the Military Cross during Operations in Iraq.

To all those who made the Ultimate Sacrifice…

We Remember.
