A Guisborough school uniform bank says it has been "busier than ever" 👔

Anna from Radio Tees came to see us on Tuesday to learn about the Uniform Bandk and record some interviews. She turned this into a smashing little piece that went out on Amy Oakden's programme this morning. Gary Philipson played it too, and spoke about the importance of our service, based in Guisborough Evangelical Church. Gary also passed on our thanks to funders and supporters including The Woodsmith Foundation, Tees Millions, Oddsocks, Willow Moon and Darlington Building Society.

By popular demand 😁 our Thursday evening summer opening times re-start next Thursday 18th June from 6 til 7pm. This will continue right through the school holidays if staffing permits. So come along and start kitting your child out for September 😱 and then strongly encourage them not to grow before the autumn term commences 😄

Anna from Radio Tees is coming to the Uniform Bank on Tues 9th to do a programme. She’d love to interview a few customers if anyone would be happy to chat to her about your experience of our service. Hopefully this will help to publicise our work so that more people get to access the Uniform Bank. So do come along if you can 😃.

As well as red summer dresses we are also very short of white polo shirts (primary age) - in fact we have NO girls' ones at all 😱. So if you have any that your children have grown out of, we'd be glad of them. If delivery is a problem send me a message and I can arrange pick up 😀

The Guisborough Free Uniform Bank is open again tomorrow 10 - 11.45am after our half-term break. If anyone has any red gingham school dresses their child has grown out of, we'd be grateful for them (smaller sizes). We look forward to seeing you 😁

We're open today til 11.45am and then closed next week for half-term to let our lovely volunteers have a little rest 😄

We’re open as usual from 10am to 11.45am tomorrow. Unfortunately one of our volunteers got a parking fine last Tuesday so we do need to close up at 11.45am to avoid going over the two hours parking limit 😓
