Surrey Marrow is the student branch of the charity Anthony Nolan. We sign people up to the stem cell/bone marrow donor register. If someone has a blood cancer such as leukaemia, they might need a stem cell transplant. Joining the register is easy, simply spit into a tube & fill in a quick form at one of our events. If you are found to be a match, donating your stem cells is similar to giving blood

. We also run a lot of fundraising events, as it costs £100 to add someone to the donor register. Donating just became mega easy - visit our JustGiving page or text MARR81 and the amount you'd like to donate (options - £1, £2, £5, £10) to 70070. Inter Faith week aims to strengthen interfaith relations as well as celebrating the incredible contribution that faith communities make to society.

At Marrow, we know that we need more people from minority ethnic backgrounds to join the Anthony Nolan register and Inter Faith week is a brilliant chance to thank all the wonderful faith societies who have already worked with us to recruit more potential donors from these communities to the register.
