Just to advise everyone we will be closed to the public Tuesday 16th June as we host a training session for Foetal Alcohol Syndrome awareness. We will be back open as usual Wednesday 17th June.

The 'Great Escape' is located in the heart of the Heritage Action Zone on Grimsby Docks.

The historic building, having been beautifully restored by the recovery community stands as inspiration for what can be achieved by those who choose sober living.

As the home of the 'Black Gull Community Venue', it offers a wide range of activities, including a coffee shop, sober events, creative workshops, recovery meetings, and much more.

The Great Escape is a unique space in many ways. Beautifully themed decor in every room creates a non-clinical backdrop to meetings and small events.

Located upstairs, our spaces can be hired individually or brought together to create breakout rooms and private 1 to 1 sessions.

The Heritage Room (Seats to 4 in a relaxed space)
The Engine Room (Seats up to 6 around a central table)
The Great Escape Room (Seats up to 20 around 2 large central tables)

Large TV Screen and Projectors, Mic and PA System, White Boards available to use
Tea and Coffee facilities available or use the Black Gull coffee shop on site.
Buffet options available from the Community Kitchen
