Another brilliant session in East Manchester 🐝

Bibs thought the comeback was on when they equalised two minutes from time, but non-bibs retaliated with 2 quick goals to take the win!🏆

We're sorry for the quiet the last couple of weeks we've been busy!

💰 We started the Spring by making a pitch to win some funding through the Tameside community fund. Although we were ultimately unsuccessful in winning the bid we were able to network with some other brilliant local charities and CIC's in Tameside including Droylsden Juniors Football! Watch this space.

🏆 We also held our first awards night at the Kings Head in Droylsden where a number of our members were highlighted for the positive attributes that they bring to sessions every week. This included a shoutout to Gaynor from Skating Edge Artistic and Sporting Edge for all of the support she has given the CIC over the years.

🖍️We've also been busy auditing and writing our policies and guidance that will be available on our website by the end of the months (but we wont bore you with all that)

⚽️Lastly we have continued to host our weekly session for up to twenty lads each week to play football in a fun, inclusive and welcoming community every sing week. We have also continued to form links with local charities and CICs to ensure that we remain accessible to any local lads who want to get involved. This week our final score was 5-3 to non bibs in a well fought match. Some tired legs evident after a late night on Monday 🤔
