✨ A Huge Thank You ✨
On behalf of the Trustees and Volunteers at the Town & District Transport Trust, we’d like to thank everyone who came along and supported this year’s Great Harwood Transport Weekend. 🚍🚗🚜
We really appreciate the fantastic turnout and enthusiasm shown over the weekend – it makes all the hard work worthwhile.
A special thank you also goes out to all the vehicle owners who brought along their pride and joy, and to the many local businesses and supporters who helped us make the event possible. Without your continued support and commitment, weekends like this simply wouldn’t happen – you’ve helped make it a fantastic experience for everyone who attended.
We’d also like to apologise for the absence of the children’s rides, which unfortunately couldn’t attend this year. We know this was disappointing for some families, and we’ll be working hard to make improvements for next year, taking on board the feedback we’ve received.
Finally, congratulations and thanks to the three winners of our Vehicle Presentation Competition (pictured below) 🏆 – your effort and dedication really stood out and added something extra special to the event. (Just to note – it wasn’t in any way biased that all three winners happened to be HGVs this year, that’s simply how the judges’ scores worked out! 🚛✨)
Once again, thank you all for being part of the event and helping keep transport heritage alive. We look forward to seeing you again in 2026! 🙌
