So this coming Saturday, 10th October, we have a no appointment needed drop off day for toys, books, games and jigsaws. You can bring in up to a bag for life full and it needs to be neatly packed so we can fit it on a shelf. We are open from 10am until 4pm.

A road safety campaign reminding drivers to give way to pedestrians and cyclists at side roads and junctions has been launched by Suffolk County Council.
The Always Let People Cross Before You Turn campaign started this week and runs for six weeks.
It will target drivers across the county through bus-back advertising in Ipswich, Bury St Edmunds and Lowestoft, a radio campaign on Heart FM, and a series of videos and advertisements across social media.
Organised by the council’s Way To Go team, it reinforces Highway Code Rule 206, which requires drivers of any vehicle turning into or out of a side road to give way to pedestrians and/or cyclists who are crossing or waiting to cross.
Despite the rule being clearly set out in the Highway Code, the RAC found in a 2024 survey that a fifth of pedestrians across the UK say drivers never give way to them at junctions.

Ever been sick / ill from the River Gipping? Report it here.
If you wish to advise Ian Petchey(RGT Restoration manger) at the same time I will record the data and if able to accumulate a ‘list’ send it to the local EA manager (as additional evidence for mandatory e.coli testing by water discharge co’s.)
