Cobham Parish Council is encouraging residents to send their comments to the GBC Planning Department https://plan.gravesham.gov.uk/online-applications/simpleSearchResults.do?action=firstPage for the above planning application.

The planning application is for 725 dwellings, a new two-form entry primary school, a Local Centre (up to 500sqm floorspace), the provision of Public Open Space including sport and recreation facilities alongside associated access, landscaping, parking, and infrastructure, with all matters reserved except for access.

Please note the deadline for comments is Tuesday 24th March 2026

The Parish clerk will be holding a surgery from 11am to 1pm on Friday 27th February at the Sports Club Pavilion for local residents to come and discuss local issues and other areas affecting Cobham parish.

The Kent Downs Management Plan Survey is now open to anyone who lives, works, or spends time in the Kent Downs. They are particularly keen to hear from farmers, land managers, local businesses, volunteers, and residents.

“The responses will help us understand what people value most about the Downs and how they believe this nationally protected landscape should be cared for over the next 5–10 years.

We’re especially keen to reach a wide and diverse range of people - from all backgrounds, ages, and communities - to ensure every voice is heard in shaping the future of the Kent Downs.”
