This winter, we have been able to supply 400 coats to vulnerable children within our town schools.
We are really pleased to have been able to help but recognise that more needs to be done.
We will continue to raise money to support our most vulnerable children during the rest of this academic year and into 2026/2027.

Coats Update:
Further to our update in October, we have now provided over 330 vouchers for coats to schools within Grantham Town.
Feedback so far, has been very positive with children and families being very happy with the coats supplied.

With the weather becoming colder, it is even more important to ensure that all vulnerable children have a warm and cosy coat. Our fundraising efforts continue and we hope to be able to help as many people as possible.

This is an example of the type of coats that is provided through our voucher scheme. It is fully lined including a concealed hood in the collar, has reflective triangles and a heavy duty zip.

They come in a range of colours and sizes and help to keep the children cosy and warm this winter.

Coats4GranthamKids have been busy supporting the schools and vulnerable children within our town. So far, this term, we have supported 5 of our town schools, providing over 250 vouchers for coats for our most vulnerable children.
However, there is more that needs to be done.
Any support you are able to provide is most gratefully received.
You could use your dividend card at the participating Co-op stores within the town as we are one of their Community Champions, or vote for us as part of Tesco Stronger Starts at participating stores.
Alternatively, if you have a few pounds to spare, you may wish to donate via our go fund me page. Just scan the QR code to be taken to our details.

Any support you can provide is very much appreciated. Let's support our children, ensuring they are warm and cosy during this winter!

We are very pleased to announce that Coats4GranthamKids are in the customer vote for Tesco Stronger Starts!
This is a scheme that gives community projects like ours grants of up to £1500.
Tesco customers can vote in store with participating stores being Grantham Tesco Express on Barrowby Gate, Sleaford Superstore and Grantham Harrowby Tesco Express. This will be between the first week of October 2025 and the Middle of January 2026 and will determine how much funding we get, so please vote for us next time you shop at Tesco!

We are delighted to announce that Coats4GranthamKids has been accepted as one of the Lincolnshire Coop's Community Champions!
They will be supporting us and helping to raise money from Sunday 7th September 2025 to Saturday 7th March 2026. Both the Lincolnshire Travel Branch on Grantham High street and the Lincolnshire Co-op food store on Springfield Road will be supporting us.
Every time you use your dividend card a donation is made to Coats4GranthamKids.
Please help us to raise as much money as possible to support our town's vulnerable children and buy new, warm coats for this coming winter.

We are very pleased to announce that we have been successful in our application to the South Kesteven Community Fund for the Coats4GranthamKids project. Their vital support and funding will go towards buying new coats for vulnerable primary age children within our town.

Based upon the estimations received from the schools that we will be working with in September, we anticipate needing to supply as many as 400 coats. South Kesteven's support is much appreciated in helping us work towards our target.
