St Peter's Hill Players - Grantham's oldest amateur drama society. We meet every Monday and Wednesday at 7.30pm in the Central Place Community Hall.

We are always looking for new members to join whether it be acting, backstage work, costume, make-up, directing, marketing, sound, lighting, or even making the tea at rehearsals (it's an important part of the rehearsal process!) We hold social events throughout the year such as Quiz Nights, meals out, trips to other theatres, garden parties, BBQs, social readings and supporting our local pubs! Con

AUDITION TIME
We will be holding auditions for our next production, The Haunting of Hill House, Monday 15th and Wednesday 17th June at our rehearsal room, Central Place, ( off Uplands Drive)

The play is a psychological ghost story!!
The characters are:
Mrs Dudley the housekeeper
Eleanor a young lady interested in psychic phenomina
Theodore a young lady with some psychic abilities
Dr Montague an academic who is very interested in ghosts
Luke the nephew of the house's owner
Mrs Montague wife of the doctor also interested in psychic phenomina
Arthur, Mrs Montague's companion and a private school headmaster

An interesting mix of people who are all at Hill House which has a dark and disturbing history.

What will be the outcome?

Awards Night Success for St Peter’s Hill Players!
A night to remember as we managed to pick up:
Best Play
Best Director
Best Male lead (Paul Connor)
Best set Best Original Script
At the Boston One Act Drama Festival (29th- 31st May)
We also had nominations for Andy Masters, Sharon Antony and Best Costumes.
A very proud evening for everyone involved!! Thanks to Dan and the team at the Blackfriars Theatre for organising and making us feel welcome. Truly proud to have been part of this festival, among some wonderful performances from five other groups! Now it’s time to celebrate!

And that’s a wrap on Outside Edge! A huge thank you to everyone who came to support our fantastic cricketing comedy! Our cast and crew have had a blast and we’re so grateful everyone who came to see us.
