Our November 5th meeting is our AGM, plans for our Christmas party are afoot and it's a chance to chat over a Jacob's Join meal and a glass of something nice.

Unfortunately Cartmel Fell WI's Open meeting has been cancelled due to ill health of the speaker. Hopefully we will announce a future date to re-book this talk.

"Muncaster Castle’s Wartime Secret: Protecting the Tate Gallery collection during the Second World War" about how Tate gallery art collections were protected from bombings in wartime.

This month's meeting will feature a talk by Angela White on "Building Better Bones: Osteoporosis, the silent disease" and the competition is "An object made of wood"
