We are excited to announce that on Tuesday, September 15th, The Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET) Solent branch is hosting a presentation on community repair. Our passionate volunteers, John Magwaro and Keith Brady, will be joined by Clare Seek from Repair Cafe Portsmouth to discuss how repair can spark positive change in our communities.

This free event at the University of Portsmouth is open to everyone, both members and non-members of the IET. Discover how the simple act of repairing can drive sustainability, empower individuals, and transform our world. Be part of the movement to build a more circular, resilient future by choosing to fix, not throw away.

Our registration with the Charity Commission has been approved. The next stage of our journey can now begin.

There is a bit of administrative work to update a few contracts and agreements to reflect the new name. Take advantage of being a registered charity with some organisations that that need the charity number to give the best prices.

Then the real work starts, allowing local people to do the things they are passionate about, with the charity's structure enabling them.
