Goole District Lions president with the New Mayor of Goole Kevin Flynn at the Launch of the Goole Bicentenary Timeline event at the Moorlands Centre Old Goole. The Lions wish Kevin a successful special year and may this event, and the many other events celebrating 200 years of Goole, give the people of the town a sense of pride and joy. A special thanks to the Goole Civic Society for organising this event and Stephen Walker for the sterling work he is doing to make this year a memorable year.

Can you help Goole District Lions.....
We are in desperate need for a room or dry area for us to be able to store some of our items we use regularly.

One of our members who currently store everything is downsizing so we won't have the use of their garage anymore, we need to store our car boot stock (books, clothes etc, our event items such as a gazebo, table games and field games and finally for our latest project of making care packages for those in need in the town.
We are looking for something within a couple mile radius of goole.

If you can help or have any ideas of who we can talk to please reply below or send us a direct message and we will come back to you.

We have been very busy this week with our annual Easter egg collection and distribution to groups we support locally.

We have given eggs to Gooles DVAP team who support families in crisis and suffering from domestic violence and to Homestart based at the courtyard in Goole.

A big thank you also goes to Tesco for their kind donation of some of the Easter eggs we distributed.
