The 4th Goodmayes Scout Group is a traditional Scout Group for boys and girls located in the Borough of Redbridge. The Group was established on March 15th 1926 at their current site located on Barley Lane next to St Paul's Church. Their home is traditionally called "The Gaffery" named after one of their most distinguished leaders Gaff Fenner. The Group has had to overcome several difficulties, mos

t notably an Arson attack on their home in 1995 which gutted The Gaffery and all its original features. Today the Group runs three sections, the Beavers, Cubs and Scouts and all meet on a Thursday night at The Gaffery from 5pm.
