The icing on the cake, after an amazing project:
Visiting the Baby Basics National Conference!
Yesterday and .co.uk travelled to London for the @baby_basics national conference.
We helped the charity launch their new website, updated brand and strategy earlier this year, so this was a real privilege to not only attend the national conference, but to deliver the keynote talk! (More on that another time.)
From the moment we arrived we were warmly welcomed and encouraged - something we've come to expect from the Baby Basics team, who are all incredible π
I shared on the subject of "The Importance of Brand" - reminding the charity team, staff and volunteers that the purpose of updating elements of the brand was to (internally) increase confidence and to (externally) make a better first impression.
The charity brand had become something which was 'just okay' but wasn't working well.
Some people were even embarrassed - telling funders and partners *not* to look at the website!
And we're so proud of the results.
Already the team have reported that the improved brand and website have resulted in a boost to team morale, better conversations with corporate partners and more donations.
Also, crucially, the national centres have taken greater ownership of the new brand and website, creating their own assets and playing a bigger role in managing their sub-brand web pages to better serve their local communities.
We've loved being part of the process - thank you so much for having us, Cat Ross and the team!!
