Good news for Gloucester – we’ve secured £220K in government funding to help more of you access healthy, affordable food.

It’s part of the new Good Food Neighbourhoods programme, where 45 local authorities are receiving a share of £10M.

Here in Gloucester, funding will build on the work of Nourishing Gloucester – the city’s partnership food strategy.

Together, we want to tackle the reasons why people struggle to afford healthy food and help residents get support before they face a crisis

We’ve a strong network of community food projects already doing great work. This funding will help strengthen and connect these services, so everyone can find and access the type of support that best suits their needs.
