MALVERN SPLASH SWIMMING🏊‍♀️

Our Sensory Seekers Group had a great time last Sunday on their trip. We spent the day swimming, playing in the park and exploring the woods as well as a picnic!

What a lovely day❤️

We asked some of our play team members and parents the year they was born to find out what songs were trending back then🎶

Which year was your favourite?

ALL ABOUT ART🎨

Our after school play sessions are fully underway, and here is some of the children's art masterpieces they've created! A big shoutout to our Art Lead, Katy, for supervising and planning our art activities for each session we do. From painting, to jewelry making, it is all about giving children the space to get creative, build their confidence and most importantly have fun!

Cheering Alice all the way to Rome!

Alice is running the Rome Half Marathon and has chosen to raise money for the Venture Community Hub while she does it!

It means a lot when someone chooses to support us in this way. We know there are lots of organisations and causes people could raise money for, so we never take it for granted when someone chooses us.

The money Alice raises will go towards our work with children, young people and families across Gloucester.

21.1km is quite a commitment, so thank you Alice for taking it on for The Venture💙

If anyone would like to support her, you can donate here 😊

SUMMER 2026 IN NUMBERS💙

What a summer it's been at The Venture!

Behind every number is a child who got to play, a young person who had somewhere to go, a family who shared an experience, a meal served and a connection made.

That's the impact of The Venture.💙

A HUGE thank you to every child, young person, family, volunteer, staff member, partner and funder who helped make summer 2026 happen.

THROWBACK THURSDAY💙

It’s been a while since we’ve done a throwback Thursday, and while going through our archives we came across these special memories.💙

We remember Terry Haines, former Mayor and Sheriff of Gloucester, who sadly passed away on December 22nd 2025🕊️

Terry was a great supporter of The Venture from the very beginning, and these photos are a lovely reminder of the connection he had with our community.

We’re so grateful to have these memories in our archives, to be able to look back at and remember the many people who have been part of The Venture’s story over the years.💙
