The National Bat Helpline are a small team devoted to 'helping people, helping bats'. We are here to help if you have found a bat in need of rescue, need advice about works or pest control, reporting bat crime or if have any concerns about your bat roost.

As a very busy team, we can only respond to questions that are not already answered on the website, so please check our advice pages before contacting us. We do not have the capacity to respond if the answer to your question is online. We have compiled our most frequently requested advice online. We are unable to help with individual concerns about local planning applications and developments over the phone or via email, and will not respond to these messages. Please follow the advice on our website instead.

You can call us on 0345 1300 228 during our open hours, or if your question is not answered on the website, you can email us your query. Please do not email us about grounded or injured bats.
