As proud partners of Alzheimer's Research UK, Dementia Heroes welcomes the UK Government’s announcement, by Prime Minister Andy Burnham, of a £48 million industry partnership to accelerate dementia research and speed up the development of new treatments.

The investment aims to address a major barrier to dementia research and make it easier to recruit people into clinical trials and enable new treatments to reach patients sooner.

We hope this significant investment will go a long way to improve research, dementia diagnosis and treatment.
