Next up over to ravenscraig for the 4 nations championships 1st up was Jay Sheridan boxed fantastic to book his place in the final beat a very good kid from 🇨🇮 ireland 💙💚💯

After that was Mairead Mgeoch boxed on the front foot to beat a good english girl to book her place in the final 💙💚💯

finally it was Michael Stuart jr what a week this boys had and it testament to his mental strength boxing a very good irish 🇨🇮kid to win And book his place in the final 💙💚💯

Proud coach moment today to win 3 out of 3 and a massive thanks to Boxing Scotland for Giving our boxers this opportunity 🥊🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

🌟 Volunteer Spotlight – Celebrating Our Unsung Heroes 🌟

National Volunteer Week may have passed but we’re still proudly recognising the incredible individuals who make such a difference in our community 💙

Next up, we’re shining a light on Peter Johnston from Toryglen Community Youth Project SCIO and Southside Boxing Academy & Community Hub👏

Peter has been supporting everyone from young beginners to adult sessions and is now an accredited Boxing Scotland coach.

More recently, he’s played a key role in cycling initiatives—becoming a qualified ride leader and bike mechanic and helping deliver On Yer Bike Toryglen. 🚴

Peter truly goes above and beyond.

Thank you, Peter—we truly appreciate everything you have done and continue to do for the community 💙

A huge congratulations to Peter Johnston, who last Friday won the Glasgow Life and Glasgow Sport Unsung Hero Award 🏆👏

We are all incredibly proud of Peter and delighted to see him receive this recognition. Peter has been part of SBACH for over 8 years and has given so much of his own time to support our boxers, children, young people, adults and wider community.

From helping coach our minis as young as 5, to supporting recreational and competitive boxers, Peter is someone who always shows up, works hard, and puts others first 🥊

This award is thoroughly deserved. Peter is hardworking, motivational, reliable, and a massive part of what makes SBACH special.

Well done Peter, and thank you for everything you continue to do for the club and the community ❤️

A reminder that Gloves Up Girls (GUG) is back on this Thursday at the Geoff Shaw Community Centre 💪💜

Our free women only boxing and fitness session is open to all abilities, whether you are attending for the first time or have been with us from the start. No previous boxing experience is needed.
