Sunday Assembly Glasgow

Thank you to all those who have reached out in the last couple of months with messages of support.
Sadly, we've decided to close Sunday Assembly Glasgow for the time being.

We've enjoyed the last 4 years and the c***ections we've made.

We will have one last get together, with a farewell celebration on Sunday 7th June, in recognition of what we've achieved.

If you've been along in the past, no matter how infrequently or how long ago, we'd love to see you for a coffee morning style gathering. We might have some of our favourite songs too, if we're feeling like singing.

We'll meet the usual place and time, June 7th, 11am.

If you'd like to bring cake or nibbles to share please do.

Come along next Sunday if you'd like to discuss how we can keep Sunday Assembly Glasgow running.

We urgently need volunteers to take on some of the roles described above:

- getting in touch with potential speakers
- making a slideshow each week
- hosting the meetings
- social media posts
- sending emails

We'll talk about ways we can share the duties to take pressure off individuals, and how we can make the volunteer roles as straightforward as possible.

We'd love to see anyone with an interest in helping out, even if you've never been before but are interested in getting involved. If you have creative suggestions that we haven't mentioned yet please do come and share them!

For those who haven't heard, there will be NO meeting in April.

Our next meeting will be our AGM in May, where we will discuss the future of Sunday Assembly. We urgently need more volunteers to be able to continue, so please consider if you'd be able to help out. More info to follow.

Festive Assembly, Sunday 14th December (not this weekend!) -

We hope you can join us for our final assembly of 2025! This will take place at the later date of Sunday 14th December, as the bowling club has their own Christmas celebration on our usual date. There will be no assembly on our usual date of 7th December.
