A Heartfelt Thank You from NLMWA & Islamic Outreach ✨️

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us on Saturday for our Community Open Day! Your presence, enthusiasm, and support made the day a wonderful celebration of our diverse community.

Together, we celebrated diversity, culture, inclusion, and community cohesion, bringing people from different backgrounds together to learn, connect, and build stronger relationships. It was inspiring to see families, friends, local organisations, and community members sharing conversations, experiences, food, and laughter in such a welcoming atmosphere.

Events like these remind us that our differences are our strength and that by working together, we can create a more inclusive, understanding, and connected community for everyone.

A special thank you to all our volunteers, partners, stallholders, performers, and everyone who contributed their time and effort to make the event such a success. We couldn't have done it without you.

We look forward to welcoming you to many more community events in the future as we continue to promote friendship, respect, equality, and opportunity for all.

✨️Together, we are building stronger communities✨️

A huge thank you to everyone who attended our AGM today 🌸

We were delighted to welcome over 20 attendees who contributed positively to the discussions, reflections, and future vision of NLMWA. Your ideas, encouragement, and continued support are what make our organisation strong and community-led.

Today we receive an e-mail from one of our funder The Robertson Trust and we welcome their recent statement addressing the growing anti-migrant sentiment in our society and reaffirming the importance of dignity, justice, and protection for people seeking safety.

We are grateful to The Robertson Trust for their continued support and for using their voice to stand alongside organisations and communities working towards social justice, equality, and human rights.

Together, we must continue working towards communities where everyone feels safe, valued, and able to contribute to a shared future.
